ABOUT OUR MINISTRY

OUR FATHER’S HOUSE IS A CHRISTIAN FAITH BASED 501C3 NON-PROFIT

A place to fortify and build up God’s people through eliminating generational strongholds, while experiencing His loving embrace as individuals. It’s a warm and inviting place to join in communion with God and each other through relationship. Sharpening our faith, and leaning on each others strengths as we journey through life together.

Our Father’s House is a family, made to model and represent the body of Jesus Christ. It’s a place where the fragrances of home envelop the air and soft music echoes in the background. A place to take your seat at the table, to share a home cooked meal, gather together in fellowship and unity in Christ.

STATS

WHY IT’S IMPORTANT

· Single parents are raising one in every three kids across the nation.
· Of all single-parent families in the U.S., single mothers make up the majority.
· According to 2019 U.S. Census Bureau, out of 11 million single parent families with children under the age of 18, 80 percent were headed by single mothers.
· Even with the best efforts of parents, children growing up in single-parent families typically have access to fewer economic resources and valuable time with adults than children in two-parent families in which child-raising responsibilities can be shared.
· 31 percent of single-parent families had incomes below the poverty line, compared with 7 percent of married couples with children.
· The effects of growing up in single-parent families go beyond economics, increasing the likelihood of children dropping out of school, being disconnected from the labor market and becoming teen parents.

“Mercy to the needy is a loan to God, and God pays back those loans in full.” - Proverbs 19:17
